I've been seeing Yeastie Boys bagels all over Instagram for a while now, I always wanted to try these trendy bagels but never seemed to make it there regardless of them parking less than 5 minutes away from my house. To be quite honest, I typically like bagels with salmon in it, Lox. Yeastie boys in usually parked at Alfred Coffee, which is in West Hollywood.
Wednesday morning, my roommate and I decide to drive to the Yeastie Boys truck and grab some coffee at Alfred's. We realize they aren't parked at the location stated on their website, but they tell us the bagels are being served at the Alfred in the Alley location. The bagels are also listed online for $8, but at the Alley location they are listed for $13. What the actual fuck!
This bagel was LIT. The mix between the guacamole and spicy mayo was delicious. I would highly recommend it.
Hmm, where do I start. This "lox" bagel was a little bit on the dry side. It only had a tomato, salmon, egg whites and basil. No sauce, nothing.
If you plan on going here, I would call ahead of time, make sure the truck is actually parked where it says it is, do this to avoid paying $13 instead of paying $8.
